COMMUNICATION MANAGER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL U-MULTIRANK PROJECT

The CHE Centre for Higher Education is a leading non-for profit think tank in the field of higher education. Based on international experiences and comparisons, CHE develops models and new ideas for the modernisation of higher education systems and institutions.

U-Multirank is a two year project funded by the European Commission (plus an option of a contract renewal for another two years). Following a feasibility study the project is about the implementation of a multi-dimensional, user-driven international ranking of higher education institutions (www.u-multirank.eu).
The position is available on a fixed term basis according to the EU contract period (66 to 75% of a full position). The position will be based at CHE Centre for Higher Education in Gütersloh, in the North-West of Germany.

Main Responsibilities/Activities:
Participation in developing and realising a communication and branding strategy for U-Multirank
Continuous operative activities to realise communication and to raise international public awareness for U-Multirank
Editing texts for reports and publications
Supporting the project leaders in internal and external communication and project management

We welcome applications from candidates who
are a native English speaker
have at least a first degree
have proven experience in communication/branding, preferably in higher education
In addition candidates should have some experience in project management and have knowledge of higher education, ideally from an international context.
